It's very rare I leave a game early, perhaps twice in the last 25 years, but I did today... Albeit 6 mins into added injury time with Pompey already 5-1 down at home to mid table, 'nothing-to-play-for' Burnley.!
This shot was taken 5 mins into injury time with Pompey on the attack... As the ball comes over, you'd think the guy all alone at the back post would get an effort on goal... Or so you'd think...
Somehow, Burnley in yellow get hold of the ball, break and within 10 seconds had banged in a 5th at the other end... Time for the exits.. And whilst not relegated yet, it is a nail in the coffin that makes relegation almost inevitable ..
Drove back to London in the evening for last minute packing... Off to India for two weeks on Sunday so you'll prob get an iphone airport shot tomorrow. Will try to upload some iphone pics from India if I can, if not, catch ya in a fortnight...
Have an absolutely wonderful time in India. So jealous as it is the number one country I hope to visit one day.
Liverpool are coming to Boston to play a game at the fabled Fenway park in July. Am hoping to get tickets. :)

@phil_howcroft Mate, I blame my Dad.... Why couldn't he have taken me to see a decent team instead of this bunch..!! Still, wouldn't swap the cup win and UEFA cup games for anything...
All three of my teams were involved in 6 goalers yesterday, this one sadly going the wrong way. Bristol drawing is not so bad but Coventry winning not so good so I thing you're right about the fat lady sadly. Enjoy the break
