Went to Sangeeta's friend's brother-in-law's wedding reception on Saturday...

The actual legal and religious ceremonies had taken place over a week ago and are usually fairly small occasions, whereas the reception is a time to invite anyone and everyone.. Muslim wedding's in London are a bit of a case of quantity over quality.!!

I only knew 3 people in a crowd of over 500 and one of them was my wife.! So didn't really bother taking too many shots...

Back home after a large meal to tidy the house like crazy as other friends were coming over in the evening..! And more food..!!

They both look very proud and lovely. Is this a traditional colour? My friend wore red but she's Sikh so I guess it could be very different.

@filsie65 yeah red is also traditional for hindu and also muslim weddings too.. but I think many decide on different colours nowadays
