Gingerly drove my car to a different garage today who think they can fix my car for less than the quote I had yesterday - not a lot less but anything saved is better than nothing...
Had the day off as was Sangeeta's birthday, she also took the day off but circumstances at work meant she had to work from home until nearly 4pm so I just mooched about for the day...
Did go out to a Lebanese restaurant in Poplar in the evening... Big dishes, very filling and very nice too... 8/10 (no loo reviews but the coffee was way too strong for me 4/10..)...
nice lavender - my lavender is a bit weedy looking. There are the most amazing lavender fields near where I live, and are a beautiful sight (and great to photograph) mid to late August/September - depending on the harvest...
