Olympic Ticket Fiasco

Went to the women's football semi-final match this afternoon between Japan and France.

Bought my tickets months ago and a good job I did too as it was a sell out and you couldn't get any tickets on the official Olympic website.!!!

This pic was taken 5 mns before kick-off... The crowd was 61,000 - some 29,000 under capacity.!!!

Not a bad game, Japan won 2-1 with France missing a penalty... Quite a lot of Japanese in and a fair few from France made for a decent atmosphere with most of us Brit neutrals favouring Japan over France...

Off to the Greco-Roman wrestling tomorrow!
