This new street artwork of Usain Bolt is more than four meters high and six meters wide and was created by Jimmy Cochran (know as Jimmy C) and can be found in Sclater Street, just off Brick Lane...
Apparently this Jimmy C bloke is a bit of a star in the graffiti world with his work selling for tens of thousands of pounds although he continues to do street work here in East London as well as in New York, Paris and Berlin.
I recognise many of his stick figures from shop fronts and doorways but had never heard of him before today..
Can you imagine creating a piece like this? That scale? Really wonderful find. Thanks for the info on the artist. Bolt is amazing but not that humble... Too bad for that. I think humility speaks volumes.
This is an amzing piece of art work......things you find around Brick Lane! but I so agree @eyesofbetsie these top guys get arrogant and it spoils the man. Renaldo is another case in point.
