Indian Thingamajig

I very nearly didn't take a photo as I've been busy this evening going through the 300 snaps I took over the weekend and was going to upload one of them...

But as I'm nearly finishing year 3 and apart from about 3 or 4 pics in this first couple of weeks when I started this project, I've taken a shot every day..

So in the end, I grabbed the first thing I saw, this little thingamajig I bought earlier this year in India... It's similar to Dhorka work of Bengal but I got this in Delhi so not sure what style of casting this is...

Its a beautiful piece of work - is it wooden? Looks quite small!

@maggiemae Hi, yeah it's small, about 4 nches long, but metal... made in simlar sytle to this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dhokra
