After a little while thinking about film, about 3 weeks ago I bought an early 1980s Praktica BC1 35mm off ebay.. Before that turned up, the bug struck again and I bought this little Hong Kong made in 1974 Halina 3000... Both for £10.
Well... The Praktica never turned up and the Halina turned up broken.!! Both were advertised as working from 100% rated sellers!!!
Had a crap night's sleep last night and was damn tired today resulting in a f_ck up at work where I emailed 300 customers email addresses to all 300 people instedd of using the BCC field.! Bugger.!!
Oh dear. But I like @billjohnson Bill's idea - I think it will make a great paperweight and you can chuck it on the floor/sofa when other things go wrong ... Perhaps you could put an incense stick in it somewhere, or open the back and use it for pot pourri? Lavender might help... sleep well :) TGIF tomorrow...
Well certainly looks nice ... errr hope your day's better tomorrow, though am liking the swearing - not as foul as the language at the bus stop this evening when the driver failed to stop ...
oh, is this a bad omen, I bought one of these yesterday off ebay, its not arrived yet! Praktica's are dreadful so probably a good thing. lol
I take it the selenium light meter is whats duff on this? If I was you I'd set it to 125th and f5.6 and take my chances like a point and shoot, it should still record a photo without the electronics. just a thought. Have you told ebay?
@chewyteeth Nah mate, the wind on arm (not sure technical name) is stuck solid.! Will return for a refund & try & get another as looks a nice little camera

I just bought me one yesterday, these are cheap as chips in the UK.
ah poop. get it quick, the prices go up on ebay as xmas gets closer. there's another Halina thats shaped like a Zorki 4 too, and I always thought thats good value for the money. Its the 35x http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HALINA-35X-35-MM-FILM-CAMERA-/360495788353?pt=UK_Photography_VintageCameras_SM&hash=item53ef393141
