A couple of strange old meetings today - Firstly I was supposed to have my monthly 1-2-1.. 20 minutes after it was due to start, my manager came over, asked were we due to met? Yep I replied - Ok, any issues he asked.. Nope I replied... Alright, see you next month he said before heading back to his office.... That's the kind of 1-2-1 I like.
Then it was onto a business continuity impact assessment meeting which wanted to discuss what would happen in case 1) I was hit by a bus or 2) the office blew up...!! Turned out I'm more vital than I thought..!!
Took this, hand held, of the iced over dock as I waited for my train home then it was off to the shops to start and finish my Christmas shopping... Almost managed it but still one or two things to buy..
Also bought some grub to donate to the foodbank - 1 lb rice, 1 packet pasta, 2 tins of beans and 1 tin of soup - All Tesco's value range for a total of £1.40... Yep £1.40 how good's that?!?!?!
