Headed over to the wharf at lunchtime and caught this fellow commuter catching some shut-eye on the DLR..
Another fairly lazy iphone shot to accompany much of the last month or so... Hopefully I'll get back into the swing of things pretty soon as am getting a bit frustrated at the lack of umph in my photos...
you have a knack of catching the London behind the 'world city' hype. I don't think there a lot of umph behind the the glitz, just a lot of people doing long hours to kep their jobs and grabbing a few moments to close your eyes and regroup and hope that enough to see you through the rest of the day.
So many dream of working in the City - so many trog through the slog of it, exhausted by it all. I feel for this poor lady, she must be shattered to fall asleep surrounded by strangers and pickpockets....
@joluise Oh I'm fairly cool with it.... public place (even tho n a tran) and in the UK there's no rule banning this type of thing... Therre's even a website dedicated to people asleep on the tube http://asleeponthetube.com/
