St James' by andycoleborn

St James'

Another Saturday and another trip down to Portsmouth to watch the penultimate home game of the season... Despite the dreadful football seen this season, I'm surprised the season's nearly over.!

Popped in mum's after the game then headed back to London in the early evening..

Stopped at St Jame's church in teh hamlet of East Tisted for this shot... Have snapped this church a few times over th eyears so apologies if you've seen before :-)
nice B&W tones...no mention of the score, take it you lost?

My first visit to a professional football game was at Pompey, while I was training to be a teacher at Milton. You could hear the cheers in the ground for miles. Many happy memories!

like the bw processing... lots of lovely contrast and texture... also, gives this some nice moody tones :)

@andycoleborn that's shocking! Stevenage are rubbish! (And in fact are my most local team but I'd never admit to that publicly!!)

This church looks even older... actually I guess it is.
I passed Stevenage FC yesterday, no wonder it was so quiet

Love this in b&w!

Perfect for b&w. It captures the feeling of an old church or landmark.
