oh this is great. am just about to post my photo of the marathon, and was going to say the same thing, it really reminded me of London during the Olympics - everyone was together.
Mine is no-where near as clear as this, so had to do a bit of processing !
Love it, I never got offered a free beer on the 23rd mile when I did it, that would have been very welcoming.
I love watching the marathon, was so jealous of everyone there today as I couldn't go. So much emotion and so many people achieving a great accomplishment as it is so hard.

I stopped drinking alcohol when training for half-marathons - seems an odd mix. Very unhappy with Farah using it as a training run - what an insult (does he need the money?) And the crash with the wheelchair was inexcusable. Poor Chris Brasher is obviously much missed - thing is becoming a shambles. Sorry for the rant.
@gooner46 yeah know what you mean... Fine if he wasn't being paid to use the race as experience... But to take such a large fee as I read in the paper is a bit off if you ask me...

@frankhymus these were the tail enders and walkers manly so doubt a swig of beer was going to hurt ;-)
