One of our community projects at work has seen a bit of an inner London urdan garden spring up on some waste land - It started slowly but now there's bunch of allotments together with ducks, chickens, quails, rabbits, a pond with newts and frogs and some nice planted up areas..
The group received some new additions this week, some Malaysan Sharama miniture chickens...
3000!! congratulations andy! i've enjoyed so many of your photos and look forward to many more. about the photo . . . I've never seen a black and white chicken! he's actually quite beautiful. nice photo!
love it - - and congrats on 3000! that is absolutely awesome! In Seattle there is a trend towards urban chickens, too....I am much too lazy for that sort of thing.....heck, i barely make it to the grocery store to buy eggs some weeks......lol. I love the detail and color on the bird...and that the owner is in the shot too!
