Headed down to Hampshire to check on mum and take her out for the day..
Drove over to Portsmouth and Southsea beach where we had some rather fine fish & chips before resocking mum's freezer with a selection of Tescos finest ready meals...
Drove back to London in the early evening - Was a bit like being a storm chaser as I was driving towards lightening storms and heavy rains..
Good image. Your stories are good to read, always! As a student in London in the sixties vans sold fresh fish and chips on newspaper squares. Nostalgia! Had to go into a proper shop in the later years for the fish & chips.
