Awful weather today meaning there has been tons of problems with the trains in and out of London all day... So fearing the worst, I left the office about 3pm - It took twice as long as usual to get home, but from what I have heard this evening, people are stuck on trains in the middle of nowhere waiting to be "rescued"..
Once home I tried to go to the sauna but the bad weather and high winds meant the QE2 bridge was closed and the roads near me were gridlocked... An hour sitting in the car barely 1/2 mile from home I finally managed to do a u-turn and head home..
Nicely done, Andy. Sorry to hear of your travel woes. I'm pretty darned glad that my wife decided to take holiday from last Friday rather than struggle getting into and out of London.
The weather outside is frightful - I just keep thinking in song tunes at this time of year! I've delayed my trip up the M1 to York until tomorrow - couldn't face dark and wet motorway.
Glad you got home in the end! I have so many of your shots to catch up with - can't believe I've missed all the India trip. Something to look forward to :) Hope you have a super Christmas :)
