Photo 1906
Mr William Martin
Died 28 September 1850 aged 18...
A line of head stones at the church in Charlton in Hampshire whch has become my regular stop-off point when heading to Portsmouth to watch Pompey..
Least said about Pompey the better - Another dreadful game.. Losing 2-1 to Southend..
Popped in to Mum's after the games, did some shopping, watched The Voice then headed back to London...

this is quite beautifully captured and rendered in black and white... i find myself wanting to read his story... and that of the person buried next to him... his wife? he was so young!
