Day 365 "Do or do not- there is no try"- Yoda

So that's it- 365 days and 12 months of my life and passion. Today's post is one photo from each month ending with the centre left of Ceilidh and daughter Shanty taken today to reflect the first photo I took on January 1st 2013 of Ceildh- if you'd told me then that we would choose to breed our beloved girl and we'd end the year with a photo of her and her daughter, I'd have told you to cut back on the veno!

I was determined to genuinely take a photo and post it every day and I've almost done it (a flashcard failure lost me 2 days) but I have genuinely picked up my camera every day for 365 days. It has been fantastic, grueling, challenging, frustrating, elating, time consuming and overall enthralling and has pushed me in ways I couldn't have imagined. This has been a great experience and I wouldn't change it for anything...

Thank you to my lovely hubby Neil and son James for being models, supporters and all round good eggs. They've been with me from buying me a point and shoot last Christmas in order that I never be without a camera, through to patience with the editing, posting and commenting process.

There has, of course, got to be such a huge thank you to all my 365 friends out there. This is the most amazing, talented and supportive community and I shan't be able to leave you so I'll be back after a few fillers. I'm going to have to go cold turkey tomorrow and not pick up the camera...yeah, right, like that's going to happen!
Beautiful collage! Congratulations on completing 365. I also completed today.

Great idea and a lovely collage. I'm still struggling to get my photos from my recent vacation days processed and up...hope to make it by midnight but may not if NYE festivities interfere.

@onewing Happy New Year to you, Babs. I caught up on your past project the other day and know that 2013 was very hard for you- I pray for joy for you and all the family in 2014 and an improvement in your othher health matters. 365 does seem to have been something positive for you to focus on and I think you're amazing for having continued through your dark days. You are so good to us all with your regular commenting and I do enjoy looking at your photos. You are one of the people I can't leave! Sending lots of love to Oz.

Big congratulations Angela! I have had two short breaks in my second year, well actually three months.... but felt that my creativity and motivation to take photos was shrivelling and I just missed all the friendships and camaraderie on here. I think 365 becomes part of who we are... there is no turning back (well, not without counselling!)
