Watching the world go by

The old jetty at Point Cook Homestead. Now owned by the Victorian State Government, the homestead was built by Thomas and Andrew Chirnside in the early 1850s and was part of the Chirnside pastoral empire. It is heritage listed but quite neglected. It has wonderful views across Port Phillip Bay and towards the CBD.
Very nice shot

They have the best views. There are two different species here by the look.

lovely capture - if you click on View this month link, you will see your photos in a calendar view. that is what I used to post my July images. it can be fun to think of how that will turn out to make a challenge for myself. I don't do it all the time, but it can be fun 😊

@ankers70 you are very welcome, it takes a while to find all the neat things here. there are some great monthly themes early each year that work really well with the calendars such as FoR (flash of red in Feb) and the Rainbow challenge in March.
hope you are loving it here, it is truly my happy place!

Thankyou for your help. I am enjoying this site so much and the people and their comments. It really is a happy place, one I enjoy going into each day. I keep a written journal and I have always linked my photos to that. Now I am more consciously linking the photos I post and the photojournalling aspect of this site.
