Yesterday while walking I came across this lady painting the lovely water scene in a nearby urban forest. We had a one of those lovely chance conversations and she kindly allowed me to take her photograph.
I like the transition of the water scene to watercolour and then to a photograph capturing both. I also liked the way her painting echoes the tree in the top RH corner creating a diagonal line across the photo.
Yes Babs, I've only recently been brave enough to ask people to allow me to take a photo of them. I always show the photo and volunteer a copy. I did send this lady a copy and we have had a lovely SMS exchange about it.
