I love the early mornings and for the last fortnight it has been too hot to be out in 'the midday sun' (to quote Noel Coward)! In the heat, I have been especially enjoying all the 'cold' images from the northern hemisphere. Today, after yesterday evening's awe inspiring thunderstorms and lightning with torrential downpours, it is much cooler.
