My husband calls me 'a Melbourne tragic' as I love the many faces of Melbourne as well as all its hidden gems.
This is another view of Melbourne CBD from north along the Yarra River looking southwards towards the Morell Bridge completed in 1899, and the first bridge in Victoria built of reinforced concrete.
On the right, across the bridge is AAMI Park and the Melbourne Tennis Centre where the Australian Open is held. On the left hand side of the Yarra is Melbourne's Botanic Gardens and King's Domain Park
What a fabulous cityscape. I love Melbourne too, we lived there for 6 years in the 1990s during David's RAAF days. My daughter and grandchildren still live there.
