The Arts Centre Spire, Melbourne, with the Eureka Tower on the left behind. The Spire was completed on 12 January 1996, and reaches 162 metres above street level and is topped by a 10-metre mast. The total weight of steel in the Spire and mast is 97.7 tonnes.
