A homely house. . .

Devon Cottage at Bickleigh Vale brought to mind Tolkein's 'last homely house' (or Rivendell) where I could imagine story telling. eating, sitting and thinking and possibly all at once. The gateway drew you in towards the welcoming lights. I was smitten.
