American Toad

Saw a very large group of toads at a pond edge today. Most of them were in the water mating, but this one was on the land taking in the sun. Originally I thought this was a frog, but I did a little research and frogs are not this warty.

I love frogs. This one has a really knobbly looking texture. Ours tend to be smooth.
