Black-capped Chickadee Excavating for a Nesting Cavity

Thanks for your comments about the Red-winged Blackbird yesterday. Much appreciated.
As I was reading the mail today in my living room I kept seeing a chickadee landing on the same dead tree in my neighbor's yard. Got my binoculars out and could see that it was excavating for a nesting cavity. It would go in the front hole and then exit out the side, and seemed to have some stuff in its mouth. I'll have a great view if it proceeds to nest there. I've got to go over and suggest to the neighbor that they leave this tree up until nesting season is over.
What a priceless picture - such wonderful focus - those feathers are terrific. Love this pov you've used. And the textures and lighting are awesome.
