The Beak of the Pelican

She looks for wiggly fishes,
At least so it appears,
To stuff inside the suitcase
That's swinging from her ears.
And though she's very graceful
When flying round and round,
How does she get that faceful
Of luggage off the ground?

@cjainmd@fpg Thankyou :) I love getting in close with animals - and pelicans have some beautiful colourings that you don't always notice on first glance
@grannysue Hi Linda, the camera was my Nikon D5000 - for this shot the lens I had on was my 18-270mm - my other lenses require manual focus and I am still working on that lol - I upload the RAW version into photoshop and tweaked a few settings, blurred the background a little more and cropped slightly to remove the other pelican who insisted on swimming by
