footy fever

There were many supporters in and around the city today - NRL grand final - lots of Qlanders in the vicinity too as both teams in the final were from QLD.

This was the Rugby League... not really a fan...stupid game like grid iron....I find soccer too slow.....of them all I prefer AFL lol but don't follow any....

At least the NRL grand final was worth watching. The I knew the AFL one was going to be horrible so I didn't even bother watching it. Probably for the first time in 30 years. It turns out my feeling was correct. But the NRL one was a real heart stopper.

@karlow75 didn't watch the AFL - heard it was a shocker - caught the end of the NRL - seemed a bit staged around Thurston being the STAR but it was a better game.
