eight legs

This little darling was hanging around in the laundry and I kept disturbing her every time I turned on the tap. I decided to relocate her into the garden. I tried to hide her in the foliage so she wasn't easy prey.
Of course I had to give her a photo shoot first....this is just with my P&S as I am collecting my Nikon from repairs tomorrow.
Not a shot most of us would do.

That's an interesting one, I don't think I know what type of spider that is. Unless it's a chunky daddy long legs?

@karlow75 I think it migjt be some type if cross spider...it sat like them but was a reddish brown

Save a spider society. Your angle is great and very brave- I usually use a cup to gather and relocate them.

You are a really compassionate lady as well as an ace snapper...

A glass and a sheet of cardboard for relocation, the thought of eight little feet trotting over my skin does make my skin crawl. Nice capture of this elegant arachnid :)

I see no "little darling". It's a great shot but it would be quite a lot thinner and take up a much larger surface area if it came anywhere near me ;)

@hermann I use the glass and container trick for the bigger faster ones :)
