This is one of my (quite a few) Japanese teacups. I have a few different teapots but my favourite is an inexpensive one I bought from ALDI - it holds just the right amount and is easy to clean out. As for teas - I have about a dozen different varieties at any given time and I often combine them to make my own blend - my real favourites are Lemon Myrtle teas (I also have a Lemon Myrtle Vodka ha ha) but I also love T2's Gorgeous Geisha and Fruitalicious.
Designers probably don't realise a teapot only has a single task. Funny thing about teapots is that hardly any teapot is well enough not to spill tea while performing this task. It's a shame we accept this shortcoming without further notice.
It's quit a scientific problem though, not easy to solve!
