The Tower will be gone by the end of the year. The row of houses you can see behind are part of the suburb of Millers Point - a lot of the historic housing has been approved for sale and will also be gone. The tall building to the right is The Palisades Hotel - it has recently been restored, reburbished and re-opened last year.
I like your image which I find totally sypathetic to the spirit of this historically important area. I also read the links which I found profoundly distressing, especially that related to the Pill..."Don't confuse us with the facts - we've already made poor minds up!"
@vignouse :) poor Richard - I love facts and am developing quite an interest for our disappearing heritage areas - close your eyes and think of England when my facts are too much LOL
