Having just dusted off my crystal ball a few days ago, I recognized this immediately! I was feeling disappointed that it wasn't as "good" and the Fish-Eye lens costing bazillion $ more (haha!) but perhaps I ought to accept it for what it is... Just need something fresh and new to photograph!

I think you have composition elements... The door ball ( the ball ) opposite to the soft background... The downing diagonal that splits, again, the ball in two parts... The reflected bottle of wine as a detail inside the ball too. ;)
