Wow! You got a little of everything in here! You might be surprised to know that the tops of the buildings there don't look a lot different from downtown LA! The downtown city is actually somewhat "small" but the LA area is spread out and has other pockets of tall buildings.
@kwind that area is an historic and beautiful part of the city - looks like a lovely space and some great areas within walking distance. The CBD is a bit further away but I love around Circular Quay and Darling Harbour which are both closer anyway.
