I absolutely love Euphorbias - whenever I am in a nursery I check to see if they have any and if they're the right price and I don't have one I will buy it.
This is Euphorbia milii - I have a red and cream one of these too.
My Nan had a huge one in her garden and as youngsters we were careful to avoid running around it as "Crown of Thorns" as it was then known was not to be messed with hahaha

@koalagardens as far as I am aware none a native to Australia

Euphorbia tannensis is, but it looks so incredibly different to these that I think come originally from Madagascar?

@koalagardens yep Madagascar - I did not know we had a native variety - I shall have to seek one out - thanks for enlightening me :)
