“The spider's web: She finds an innocuous corner in which to spin her web. The longer the web takes, the more fabulous its construction. She has no need to chase. She sits quietly, her patience a consummate force; she waits for her prey to come to her on their own, and then she ensnares them, injects them with venom, rendering them unable to escape. Spiders – so needed and yet so misunderstood.”

@luvmynynix thanks Laurie I loved the colours in this one - and Golden Orbs are one of my favourite spiders - the females are spectacular - she was the only one I spotted today - sometimes at the zoo there are hundreds
@paul2782 maybe it's the tennis and the Wild Turkey - lol - think I'll be up all night - semis and I love zoo photos lol - think they will be popping in for a few days
@paul2782 hahahaha I am obviously off my game - yeh what's with the fav thing - I feel spoiled B-) the tigers were a present - and Murray is about to play - I can't sleep through that
@derekvickers hahaha no not all Derek - I'm sure she could give a mean might if you upset her but not venomous - I have held a young one without incident
