I spent over an our in the Rainforest Aviary at Taronga today - the birds were singing and it was just perfect. I love King Parrots - they have a beautiful voice and gentle nature. This handsome fellow just seemed to hang around me - he stayed in the trees near me for the whole time I was there. I was standing on the little bridge watching him when all of a sudden he landed right next to me - I took a couple of shots ( the close ones here) but he just kept walking towards me and focus was difficult - so I gave up and just stood next to him, watching him, admiring his beauty - he stayed until some noisy school kids startled him - it was the most beautiful few minutes - it was like we were connected - and for me it was a special sign

This is a beautiful collage; love the vibrant red of the "KING" parrot. At first, I thought this was one of Corrie's (genesis_one) images...BTW, that's a compliment! Great job!
