This week in my People and Places album I am going with images taken from the ferry (sometimes AKA Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous).
The Bandicoot class was a ship class of two minesweeper tugboats operated by the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). Built in 1982 the primary role was support to visiting warships. The vessel could be equipped with a sidescan sonar and various towed minesweeping arrays, and also functioned as a berthing tug. It was removed from naval service in 2014.
