Diary of a Wombat
by Jackie French, Bruce Whatley (Illustrator)
Wombats are cuddly-looking, slow-moving Australian animals. Their favorite activities are eating, sleeping, and digging holes. Here, in the words of one unusually articulate wombat, is the tongue-in-cheek account of a busy week; eating, sleeping, digging holes . . . and training its new neighbors, a family of humans, to produce treats on demand.

@graemestevens mmmm yum I am glad - as much as I love to laugh I would hate to offend - I am enjoying a white atm but do have two bottles of a $60 red to enjoy ;-)
@skippysue thanks Suze - I have my moments - some times are easier than others but I enjoy the photos the conversation and the caring I get from 365 so that always keeps me going
I knew this was yours, brilliant. I love wombats. I picked one up once and they are so heavy I nearly got a hernia. ha ha.
There was a hairy nosed wombat at Billabong Sanctuary in Townsville once called Notso, because he was not so hairy as his friend.
How are you going? xx
