another bee - I know - but they were happily collecting so much pollen from the sunflower out the front I just could not help myself - and the sunflowers are stunning

I got stung last night while walking the dogs and I happen to be highly allergic. Spent the whole night swelling up and going and attractive shade of purple. Therefore I can not like this shot because of the bee and the flower.

thank you so much - I love when the bees come to visit - I glimpsed a big fat bumble bee the other day and was all excited - even had my camera - but a glimpse was all I got - I buzzed off and didn't return

@kilbane thanks Philomena - pretty sure it is a bee - flat hairy legs - and wasps are for the most part predators not pollen collectors although they do drink nectar - this fellow was definitely collecting
