Kitchen Macro

The week before Christmas Marcy @marcy0414 challenged me to photograph a closeup/macro of something you keep in a drawer in the kitchen - I took the photos but never got the chance to post them in time for the challenge - so here they are!

I’ve been trying to guess what it is too! I think it’s one of those old fashioned cheese graters or a garlic press?
Do you remember when I was here before someone taking a macro shot of an object each week and we all had to guess what it was? Happy times x

I saw a kind of melon baller/ice cream scoop. I love the complexity of the apparatus and its indecipherable background

I think it's an ice cream scoop, but with all the new fangled gadgets out there today, I am probably wrong! Great abstract!!!

it is a melon scoop - I used alfoil as the backdrop because really you can never have enough shimmery glare hahahaha
