Hakea by annied

Hakea

This week I'm going with....Australian native flora.
This beautiful Hakea was growing in Kuringai Wildflower Gardens. I have posted hakea before....pretty sure I have.....Hakea (pin-cushion tree) is a genus of 149 species of shrubs and small trees in the Proteaceae family, native to Australia and surrounding islands.
Very cool, lighting and shadows, oh my. A pretty amazing tree I can tell.

Beautiful hakea Annie. I don't know this one. Our hakea laurena looks pretty boring right now.

@golftragic I will try and get the name of this one - the gardens where I took this do have signs for many of the plants - and of course there's google hahahaha

@annied You're very kind, but don't bust your buttons Annie, we really don't have room for another one.
