in fact you don't see the lake once you leave Wray until you get to Clappersgate (possibly).

Nice walk in the early Autumn colour - but oddly it was* a lot longer than I had thought - planned for 1h and 20m so that's about 4 miles - but when I looked at my (free) pedometer, it had us at about 7 and a half!
