Sunset Park

Today has begun with young hormonal pre-teens PMS'ing all over the 6BR group chat; a.k.a. Lysh has woke me up in tears, arguing with school friends on WhatsApp 😐🙄

Most of the day was spent just lazying about, bit of gaming, bit of TV, bit of Tik-Tok, bit of Alexa... you know those types of day. Lysh was booored but couldn't think of anything she wanted to do besides watch the sunset again - which wasn't until this evening. I find it frustrating as a parent trying to entertain kids when they shoot down every feasible suggestion you can think of. Cinema? No. Swimming? No. Soft Play? No. C'mon kid, help me out here. Their suggestions be like, let's fly to the Maldives for 3hrs on a Saturday afternoon 😂 instead we ended up sat playing Airhead on Luna together... weather took a turn and went overcast, so she went into panic mode that we wouldn't be able to see the sunset whatsoever, but thankfully it brightened back up 😁 we nipped shop and grabbed some sweets & had a wander down to chill on the park and got some decent pictures! 🤗

Lysh has been for a bath to relax. She spent a good 15-minutes making a "preppy Tik-Tok" of the setup before she got in, doing unboxing of all her products etc 😅 then was in there for like 1.5hrs with the Alexa blasting out tunes whilst she relaxed... such a hard life these kids have! 🤪
