No radio reception, middle of nowhere, there's a cuckoo calling, runners and walkers going past looking in (as would I!)
Spent the afternoon copying a photo I took of Teasel coming through Paulter's Bridge yesterday when it was a bit sunnier.
It's ok, think I've got the perspective right on the bridge and boat, but there's something lacking, there's a naivety to this, but it filled a quiet, chilly afternoon whilst listening to birds and snatches of conversations.
Sue says I should set up a stall and flog my canal art so who will start me off? 50? 75? A pound??
@30pics4jackiesdiamond this is great! I love it. I'm not sure why you say it is lacking anyhing, but i will not contradict the artist. It's just lovely!
@30pics4jackiesdiamond I was trying to find some thing that it is lacking and could not find anything! I’m not sure what you think it needs. It tells the story of your travels and has some beautiful reflections!
I sure like this, and I agree it tells a great story of your canals. Everything looks like a tight fit! Your perspective is good, and details aren't needed to portray the location and portrait of your long boat.
what's lacking? i love that the reflection is complete. i wouldn't have tried anything this complicated. aces!
my sister the artist had been telling me to display my paintings in the front yard of the building so people would see them and buy them. i might just do that if the office retires me this year. i'd buy a van so i wouldn't need to sleep under the bridge and peddle my arts in parking lots! 🤣
@jacqbb many thanks
