well, if you're a 5th grader named brock you can! and he did, at the ACSI district spelling bee in enid today. he made it through 13 rounds, and spelled his way to 5th place in his grade. sweet boy was eliminated with the word 'tamarack'. huh? i didn't know either. it's a kind of tree.

What an accomplishment (did I spell that correctly?). Congratulations Brock. I may be well educated, but spelling brings me to my knees every time. That card showing the family's support is really creative.
