not a quilt, but samples of some of our paint colors. because, hold on to your seats, they started PAINTING today!!
even though i tried to process it a bit, the colors are still not exactly 'true'. and when placed all next to one another it isn't really a good representative of the proportions--it will actually be far lighter in overall appearance. but that's neither here nor there; the point is that PAINT IS ON THE WALLS, PEOPLE!! wooohooo!!
for those who choose paint based on the name as much as the color (as i do...) they are as follows:
*hummingbird blue (for an exterior door)
*silhouette (for the woodwork/trim in the exercise room)
*ultra pure white (for all the trim throughout)
*lamb (for the kitchen cabinets)
*glow (for built-ins in the living room/kitchen)
*bonsai (for the walls of the exercise room--NOT my choice, but i deferred to my artist boy)
*zinc (for the library bookshelves)
*salt glaze (for the ceilings throughout)
*heavy goose (for the living room/kitchen walls)
