one of the many things i love about my boys' school is the annual 'crusaders care' day--the entire school (students, faculty, and parents) takes the whole day to serve our community. they paint parking lots, trash cans, playground equipment (and each other!) they rake leaves, pick up trash, spread mulch, and much more. they have great attitudes, they work really hard, and they have fun doing it! they are a picture of the hands of Jesus reaching out to serve others, and it is beautiful.
