so. i pulled up to my boys' school this afternoon, when i saw smoke. and it looked awfully close to the school. where my boys were.
as i walked around the building (i had to investigate!) i heard a siren. i smelled smoke. ashes were falling from the sky. and i saw this.
oh, and that metal building, the one that's mere feet from the fire? that's our school gym. where one of my boys was.
thankfully, the firemen had it all under control quickly and the fire didn't so much as scorch the school. where my boys were.
whew.
God lord, that must have given you all a scare. So glad no one was hurt, and the school was not damaged..
