my boy had a great race today at the jenks criterium. not only did he win a prime lap, but he had a down-to-the-wire win! and to make it even more fun, my son (in red) was racing my sorority sister's son (in green; see my post from 6/25!) they both were racing so hard, gutting it out down the home stretch. when they crossed the finish line, my fella pulled out the victory by less than half a bike wheel. it was so close, they had to look back at the video to finalize the results! we thought it was so cool how our boys became so 'close' today on the bikes, and it was awesome for them to meet after the race and find out their moms were friends from college. it was a great day, and we're looking forward to these new buds having many more opportunities to battle it out in the future!

I love cycling and was delighted to see that you have even more cycling photos in your project, I'll be looking back over them.
Oh, and congratulations to your son on his win.....next stop Le Tour.
