one of the fun perks of being the 'leaders of the elementary' is that the 6th graders are paired up with a kindergartener to be book buddies. each wednesday they choose a book and spend a few minutes reading to their little buddy. my guy LOVES it! he was excited to find that he and his buddy are a lot alike--they even look a little similar--and he looks forward to seeing him each week. it was so sweet to see him in action today!
