and i'm also pretty sure he's pointing at me with that racquet. because moments before he stepped out on the court, we met. that's right--i met my childhood idol and true love (except of course for my husband), JOHN MCENROE. and when we met, i reminded him that once upon a time, we were engaged. because when i was around 10 years old, i wrote him a letter and asked him to please not marry the girl he was dating at the time, but to wait just a bit 'til i was older and to marry me instead. and they broke up. so clearly, we were engaged. and he laughed when i told him that story--not in a "you are a loony stalker, lady" kind of laugh, but a "yes, of course i remember. those were the good ol' days" kind of laugh. so, it seems pretty obvious that he is looking at me, since we're engaged and all.
