i had lots of great shots of my son in action at his football game this evening, but when i saw this photo that i snapped of his dad and pop congratulating him after the game, i knew this was my pick for today. lots of love in those eyes and smiles.
You and your Husband could pass for High School sweethearts (as in still in High School). Being that you have a teenage son, totally freakin me out! This is a beautiful shot! You are so right, the looks on their respective faces speaks volumes.
I just caught up on your 365! I love this one of course and the one of charley and B sleeping also the one of charley waiting at the back door and the one of( who else) charley with the wind in his hair ~ I think I love your dog ~ he's just so full of personality!
In response to your response: Brett, I hit the nail on the head! Congratulations, you have discovered the secret of the fountain of youth ~ your love. Kudos, it's working magnificently for both of you! Glad I could make you smile.
I agree Brett. You captured a great moment here. Your Son's eyes and expression say so much, as well as your Husband's. A look of a proud Dad and Grandpa. Your Son looks quite satisfied.
This image will be more cherished by him and all the men in your life more then any action shot (unless it is the game winning touchdown at the rose bowl or something like that :) ) Great PJ shot, and love the b&w conversion.
Aww, this is really nice. A keepsake, for sure and it's just composed so wonderfully.
Re: I used dry ice and poured water into a little shell--not a long exposure, and it was quite easy save for replacing the water and dry ice several times!
I miss football. :( Why is it that eventually our bodies don't recover as fast as they once did?? Ugh. Anyways, great shot! It's always great to see parents involved in their childrens' lives like this. :)
